Once many years ago a younger and more innocent version of myself did the unfortunate thing of getting a very bad tattoo on my lower back. I did not research or inquire about a good place to get this tattoo done, instead I just went in and got inked. Big mistake. For the last 11 years I've had this very small unidentifiable little flower (looks more like a horn of plenty) on my skin. It was suppose to be this super cute little art deco flower peeking out over the top of my hip hugging and slow slung jeans and skirts. Instead I got "What is that suppose to be?". Now as I am slowly coming to the end of my twenties I have decided to do something about this. Laser Removal.
Goodbye Tramp Stamp, hello bare back.
Luckily I am a good candidate. I have super pale skin with a small black tattoo. The doctor was pleased that I have "realistic expectations". This means that I know that: it may never go away completely, it could keloid (although doubtful), and it could turn bright white. After during the research and talking to good old doc, I feel rather comfortable with the low chance of any serious side effects and will start my laser treatment next month. If all goes well in about a 1/2 a year I'll be tramp stamp free. Yippee!
So guys and gals, wish me luck as I join the ranks of those in Los Angeles to have a "cosmetic procedure".
