Nothing can compare to a good ride.
  • A really good cup of tea
A good cup of tea should be made using cool water brought to the boil and then poured over tea in a tea pot. Add milk and sugar to the bottom of the cup, then pour tea. Then dunk cookie.

The Broken Wrist

I broke my wrist.  People don't seem to be too surprised, which is kind of funny in a snarky sort of way.

This is what happened:

October: I move and I get mugged.  Fell on my wrist and sprained it.

Xmas: Fell on some cream cheese in Trader Joe's and landed on my left wrist again.

Jan. 2: After spending a delightful day driving around in Dougal the Wonder Dart he decided to break as I was parking him.  The parking break got stuck in neutral.  In my frustration I hit the dash board with my left hand.  This whack caused a hairline fracture in my wrist.

I actually didn't do anything about it until Monday after a day of typing at the office told me that something was seriously wrong.  So I took my self down to urgent care and am now the proud new owner of a rigid splint for the next 4-6 weeks.

My new nickname at work has gone from Danger Girl to A.P.  Yes, that's me "Accident Prone".
